I was able to get the cover off and found a wad of purple thread tangled in the tension disc. I can't even remember the last time I used purple thread! It was a little tricky getting the cover back on, but once I did the machine started stitching just fine and I finished my projects. A huge thank you for this post and all your wonderful tutorials. Next up, burp cloths!Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02524660914246023884noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732879819022455787.post-74586710535008018812017-02-26T19:30:54.865-05:002017-02-26T19:30:54.865-05:00Thank God for yer friend and yer post. I use the 64 bridge more often, but drive around the old building now and again when I go to the new Wild Eggs. I never stop hoping another store like it will come along someday, but I believe the era has gone. We never knew how lucky we were until it was gone!

I am LOVING the blog and your site. Not sure whatever happened to Michelle. Nelson will travel a bit to pick up a machine and is in Louisville often if that is where you are. So glad you found my blog. I enjoy it very much. Just reading through some older entries and I see this one....when I got to the part with Nelson's name and Baer's, my heart nearly jumped out of my chest. I was a regular customer there and not a week goes by that I don't have a thought of Baer's and wishing it was still open. I ran into my dear friends from there, Michelle S. and Mark H. a few years back at Panera but I haven't seen them since then. I am SO happy to see contact info for a wonderful, wonderful repairman! I am beyond excited over this post!!!

Thank you.Bowmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01796415884795535472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8732879819022455787.post-14898907490201237772016-03-13T13:36:03.234-04:002016-03-13T13:36:03.234-04:00Thank you so much. I had a small piece of thread and lint stuck and now my machine is working again. What a relieft.
