...And I thought it would be fun on a candy bar. I have linked crops with chocolate ever since reading that chocolate is one of the top things to take to a crop in an article in the Cricut Circle magazine. It was actually item #2, just after Diet Soda (which I also thought was funny).
I made an overwrap with a decorated tag. The wrapper was cut at 5-1/2"x6", giving you four from a 12x12 sheet of cardstock. (Cardstock may not be the best weight to use, but I had it in the perfect color!)
Next, I ran it through the Cuttlebug. I used my Cricut Circle logo folder for this, which is one of the larger ones. The paper had to hang over the edges, but it still fit in the machine and since these were the edges, I knew they would meet on the back of the candy and it would look just fine.
I wrapped the embossed papers around the candy bars attaching to the bar and itself with ATG tape.
I used a Word document to create my text. I used Google Images to find the Circle logo. I printed these off on cardstock and trimmed down to 2"x3-1/2". I used the Baby Boutique Imagine cart to cut the crowns from page 5 of the handbook at 1.6" after separting it from the other layers.
I trimmed off the bottom of the crowns. |
I am thinking of using this idea for my calling cards for the next crop in Mason, Ohio. |
Thank you for visiting my blog.
