Here's December 17:
This day's photos are of my kiddo in her room with her pink feather tree. She receives a special ornament from me each year that symbolizes her year or interests at the time. Those along with ornaments that she is given from others have made her ornament collection outgrow her tree (so many that are not hanging up), but she still loves her little tree.
A jounaling tag allowed me to note the events of the day. I liked the cheerfulness of this page-- so much like my daughter!
Yesterday, I packaged this year's ornament for her. I always put a note with all of her ornaments so that she can remember who gave each one to her and the year given. I made the packaging for this from a matchbook style box and put my note on the back of the tag. I envision that when she leaves home many years from now, she will have a whole box of keepsakes and memories that will enable her to have Christmas even if she is far from family.
On to December 18:
My last blog post included pictures of my daughter yesterday morning, dressed as a Christmas angel for a school event. I knew I would be using one of those for that day's journal page!
I was able to go to her school and snap a few pictures of her with her two best friends in the choir of angels. Hark! These herald angels had a lot of fun! (And so did I!)
I took so many pictures of those sweet girls that it was hard to pick just these two. (I was the momarazzi yesterday.)
Two time-consuming, Christmas projects to finish today. I'm off to my craft room before I have to work! Thank you for checking my blog post today.

Beautiful page layouts and the photo's are fabulous. Caroline xxx
I love the paper you chose to compliment your fantastic photos. It is so wonderful that Piper has an ornament collection started. My daughter collects nutcrackers (she gets at least one new one each Christmas) and it warms my heart to know my daughter will have her nutcrackers at Christmas to cherish when she leaves home.
Beautiful pages and wonderful giggling angels. Love the papers and photos you used to capture the days.
Love Piper's special tree as well!!! She has a wonderful Christmas legacy already.
I think it's great how you make JYC work for you by recording special events as they happen and using the prompts too on other days. I'm looking forward to seeing all the special doll clothes you've made. So special and full of love. My dd is nearly 18 and it goes so, so, fast. I remember making her pram covers when she was very little for her new dolly pram. We still have them in the attic. Lovely blog.

The pictures of Piper are just perfect. I love the bright, colorful festive one in her room especially with the contrast of the angelic, peaceful colors of her as an angel. Love it!
Great post! The pages are gorgeous, as usual. The picture of the angels all giggling is heavenly!
